Koning Bamboe is an online store that focuses on offering bamboo related products for both consumers and businesses. Think of products in the kitchen, care products, gadgets like watches and sunglasses, but also for example bamboo clothing. There are situations where your data is collected by koning bamboe. It is therefore good that you know what is done with it and how you can indicate your wishes regarding your data. That is what this statement is about.

Processing your order
Once you place an order with Koningbamboe you have to enter some personal data. Koning bamboe sends newsletters by e-mail. These newsletters are commercial on the one hand

The webstore runs on the Lightspeed platform. Lightspeed is one of the leading providers of web store software. Your data are stored when placing an order.
Mailchimp
The newsletters are sent by Mailchimp. The moment you sign up for the newsletter, your email address and first name are automatically stored in the appropriate list within Mailchimp.
GSuite (Google)
The e-mail of Koningbamboe is hosted by Google. If you contact us via the forms or via mail, the mails will be stored on Google servers.
4. Storage period
Your data will be stored by Koningbamboe for a longer period of time, but never longer than is necessary for the execution of activities, unless we are required by law to keep your data longer.
Processing your order
Koning bamboe has (as all companies in the Netherlands) to do with a legal retention obligation from the tax authorities. This means that Koningbamboe has to keep administrative matters such as purchase and sales invoices for up to 7 years.
Sending newsletters
Your email address and first name are stored in Mailchimp. The storage of your data is indefinite. You can unsubscribe whenever you want via the link at the bottom of the newsletters or by sending an email to [email protected].
Contacting us
At the moment you contact Koning Bamboe by e-mail, the data you send us, such as
