Experience the charm of our Baluch carpet, handmade by the skilled Baluch nomads in southeastern Iran. The nomads, spread across southeastern Iran, southern Afghanistan and western Pakistan, create these carpets that we offer from the spiritual Iranian pilgrimage site of Mashad. Typical of Baluchi carpets are the warm color shades in red, brown and dark blue, often made from wool. Sometimes materials such as cotton, goat hair, camel hair and silk are also used. Baluchi carpets are modest in size compared to other styles and are distinguished by geometric motifs such as hexagons, squares and triangles. The artisanal process, carried out by four to five professionals, takes six hours every day and, depending on the size, can take up to ten months.
