HYDILE: The story behind bamboo garden sheds

HYDILE, founded in 2012 by Mrs. and Mr. Heyraud, was born from a deep passion for world craftsmanship. With a vision to create unique and sustainable products, the couple embarked on a special adventure: developing a garden range made entirely of bamboo.

The inspiration for their collection came to life during a trip to Bali, Indonesia, where they discovered the versatility of bamboo. They were fascinated not only by the ecological benefits of this fast-growing plant, but also by the age-old techniques used by local craftsmen to work bamboo. The meeting with these talented craftsmen led to a collaboration, from which the idea for an exotic bamboo construction was born: the garden shed, a stylish and sustainable addition to any garden.

After many tests and innovations, this garden shed has now been patented and is offered on the French market, where it has become synonymous with a unique combination of design, sustainability and craftsmanship. With this collection, HYDILE brings a piece of Bali’s craft heritage to outdoor spaces in Europe.

The power of bamboo
Bamboo is known for its ecological properties: it grows quickly, requires little maintenance and is strong enough to even be used as a building material. These properties make it the perfect choice for HYDILE’s range. Their garden sheds are not only an aesthetic asset, but also contribute to a more sustainable way of life, making the most of natural resources.

HYDILE continues to innovate, with respect for nature and a deep admiration for the crafts they have learned along the way. The company has made its mark on the market by combining craftsmanship, sustainability and aesthetics in products that are both environmentally friendly and elegant.
