The combination of elastane and cotton with bamboo ensures an extra strong fabric and a perfect fit. In addition, bamboo is hypoallergenic, making it ideal for people with sensitive skin or hypoallergenic.
Our bamboo comes from FSC certified plantations and we are also OEKO-TEX 100 certified, which means that our products do not contain any substances certified for humans and the environment. We also use Tanboocel to make bamboo yarn, which is a circular process where 100% of the chemicals used are captured and recycled.
At Bamboo Basics, we attach great importance to sustainability and that is why we have drawn up a code of conduct in which we describe, among other things, the safety of the components, the payment of a fair wage, no child labour, freedom of association and supervision of hygiene. All our suppliers are BSCI certified, which stands for Business Social Compliance Initiative, an initiative of companies committed to better working conditions in the future supply chain.
